Programs for Applied Physics are designed to provide in-depth knowledge and various concepts of advanced physics theories and experiments. The courses at UG, PG, and Ph.D. levels, train students to carry out multiple research projects and presentations on various topics, such as light, sound, vibration, radiation, nanomaterials, etc. The courses such as personality development, english communication, computer skills, etc. are also included for the students to enhance their skills. Engineering physics is also being offered to students of engineering programs.
B.Sc. (Hons.) Physics with Research is a 4 year program which includes research and internship in its course curriculum. It is dedicated for applied research in the field of Physical Sciences and further helps in enhancing research acumen of the scholar along with exposure to internship in related fields. This program has advantage of pursuing higher studies in Universities across the globe after qualifying eligibility criteria fixed by the university.
Exit option as per NEP 2020 in B.Sc. (Hons.) Physics with ResearchAs per New Education Policy exit option is also available. Exit option should be intimidated to the University by the student during 5th semester of the Program, so that student can opt for exit pathway during 6th semester. Thus, if a student exits B.Sc. (Hons.) program after 3 years he/ she will be awarded B. Sc. (Hons.) Physics degree, whereas if a student continues with 4 yrs. degree program he/she will be awarded B. Sc. (Hons.) Physics with Research.
Apply NowB.Sc. (Hons.) Physics with Research with adequate engineering course contents gives opportunities to the students for higher studies in reputed research institutions in India and abroad. Apart from career options in various sectors, the student becomes eligible to pursue higher studies of M.Tech, M.Sc. programs.
