The art of practising yoga helps in controlling an individual’s mind, body and soul. It balances the physical, mental and spiritual levels for a healthy body and a peaceful mind and helps manage stress and anxiety. It also increases flexibility in the body.

Keeping these benefits of practising yoga in mind, the university has allocated a spacious Yoga hall, where students, faculty and staff can practice yoga and meditation.

The university is encouraging the outdoor sports activities amongst the students by providing the infrastructure, coaching facilities, and attendance concession. Large playing fields support a wide variety of games, such as Cricket, Volleyball, Football, Hockey and Tennis. Our Outdoor facilities include courts for Basketball, Volleyball, Handball, and Tennis.

The university gives equal prominence to sports activities which are required for overall physical and intellectual development of the students. The university has a sports room, which is a hub of many indoor games like carom, table tennis, chess and many more. These games inculcate the spirit of true sportsmanship among students.

Carrom - It is a game which develops bonding among students and at the same time relaxes and refreshes their minds.

Table Tennis - It's a game which requires great hand-eye coordination and improves concentration and mental alertness among students, thus making them more attentive in academics.

Chess - It is a game which improves creativity among students and also makes them more efficient in problem solving. It improves their neural qualities.

We believe in the motto of ‘health is wealth’ and that’s why one can find a well-equipped gymnasium within the campus that encompasses latest machines and instruments at allow students and staff members to commit to their fitness goals. There are professional trainers available throughout the day to guide the beginners to achieve the required fitness level. Further, there are separate time slots for faculties and students or for girls and boys in order to keep it within their comfort zones. The gym has separate sections for general exercise as well as weight training or advanced workouts. Membership rules are made available at the office within the campus only.
