Food insecurity is a major worldwide issue that the university is attempting to solve through its SDG-2 initiative, Zero Hunger. The goal is to enhance food distribution networks, advance sustainable agricultural methods, and increase public knowledge of the complex issues surrounding hunger through research, instruction, and community involvement. The University aims to contribute to a world in which no one goes to bed hungry by working towards SDG-2.
The goal of the University's Good Health and Well-Being program for SDG-3 is to improve the general health of public and well-being both at an individual and community level. In order to promote illness prevention, access to high-quality healthcare, mental health awareness, and healthy lifestyles, is inclusive of research, education, and various outreach and community extension initiatives. The goal is to make the society healthier and more resilient.
The University is committed to promote sustainable energy solutions through an initiative that is in line with SDG-7, Affordable and Clean Energy.
