Pick-up Facility

Airport pickup is available to new international students arriving at the Jolly Grant Airport in Dehradun. When you have booked your flights, apply for your pickup service at least 07 days before your departure date. A University representative will meet you at the airport and ferry you directly to your accommodation in the campus. This is a free service from the airport to the Uttaranchal University campus.

Bhutanese & Nepalese nationals shall be required to Register "Form S" under FSIS processing.
This is mandatory for all international students from Nepal and Bhutan.

Visa Assistance

If you plan to study at UU in INDIA, you will need to apply for a student visa from the respective Indian Embassy/High Commission/Consulate in your country (or nearest location) before travelling.

Visa application can take up to 90 days to process and so it is important to apply as early as possible.

You will need to provide a number of documents to support your visa application. Examples of what you will need to provide are below, however, we recommend checking the website of the Indian Embassy/High Commission/Consulate in your country as requirements may vary.

The visitors are required to fill an online visa Application by visiting the website https://indianvisaonline.gov.in/visa/ and visit their nearest embassy with a printout of the online filled application and required travel documents.
