Grand Celebration of Convocation 2024 at Uttaranchal University

The Swami Vivekananda Auditorium at Uttaranchal University served as a magnificent venue for the Fourth Convocation Ceremony, which was held with great splendor on December 03, 2024. The ceremony was graced by the presence of the Hon'ble Chief Guest, His Excellency Lt. Gen. Gurmit Singh (Retd.), Governor of Uttarakhand, along with Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat, Hon'ble Higher Education Minister of Uttarakhand, as the Guest of Honour. During the convocation, a total of 1,707 undergraduate degrees were conferred, along with 586 postgraduate degrees, 49 diplomas, and 14 doctoral (Ph.D.) degrees. In recognition of exceptional academic excellence, 34 students were awarded Gold Medals. An honorary degree was conferred upon Shri S. K. Mehta in recognition of his extensive experience in drilling engineering and his significant contributions to the Indian oil and gas industry.

The august presence of Shri Jitender Joshi, President of the University, along with other distinguished dignitaries, further elevated the prestige of the occasion.
