Rotaract, a youth wing of Rotary International, works in communities around the world to help young people generate and share ideas about the world’s most pressing challenges. It brings together people of ages 18 and older to exchange ideas with community leaders, develop leadership and professional skills. It lifts the spirit of students to grow personally and professionally, address community needs, and promote international understanding through kindness and service. Currently there are 10,698 Rotaract clubs, 203,298 Rotractors in 180 countries. The objective is to provide service to others, promote integrity, and advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace through our fellowship of business, professional, and community leaders. The club takes action through service in order to bring about a positive change in the society. Donation Drive is a regular activity conducted altruistically for the benefit of downtrodden people. Moreover, several competitions and events are also conducted by the club. The management of the society is supervised by a president, a secretary, and other executive members. The Rotaract club of Law College Dehradun, Uttaranchal University joined the global movement of the Rotary International on 1st November 2020 and have been actively involved in carrying out various activities and service projects, sticking to its motto "Service Above Self".
