The ACS international student chapter was established during the International Conference on New Horizons in Green Chemistry and Technology (ICGCT-2018), which was organized by the School of Applied and Life Sciences (SALS) on November 27th-28th, 2018 at Uttaranchal University (UU). The conference was sponsored and supported by ACS-USA and SSRN-Elsevier. Establishment of an ACS chapter at UU was made by efforts of Prof. Ajay Singh, and all participants of the conference were given free membership of ACS.
All ACS-chapter members of the society have wider scope of joining a vast network of researchers worldwide and will be provided support to participate in various conferences, sponsorship of projects and pursue their further education overseas. The ACS society may support its members/students in the following ways:

Eureka is the Student Science Club of the Physics, School of Applied and Life Sciences, Uttaranchal University.
